Ridhi Dogra Says “Don’t Expect Fairy Tale Relationships” Amid Twisha Sharma Case

Ridhi Dogra reacted strongly on the tragic death of Twisha Sharma, while expressing deep shock and sadness over the incident. She made use of her social media platform to highlight the case while raising concerns around women’s safety and emotional abuse.  She wrote “Don’t expect fairy tale relationship” while warning women against unrealistic expectations sold by society.

 Twisha Sharma was found dead in her matrimonial home in Bhopal under suspicious circumstances. Her family alleged her in-laws for mental harassment, dowry related-pressure and domestic abuse. Twisha also sent a last disturbing message that described that she felt trapped which raises serious concern.

The case triggered major police action and a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed for further investigations in case as well as to avoid any investigative lapses. Her husband Samarth Singh later surrendered and was taken into custody for questionings related to Trisha’s death. 

Ridhi Dogra used the tragedy to emphasize on the importance of independence and emotional strength for women. She also urged women to identify the red flags in relationships and her message signaled the growing demand for stronger actions against domestic abuse.
