Navneet Kaur bestowed with the prestigious award

Navneet Kaur, a leading player in the Indian woman’s Hockey Team has been recently honoured with the Balbir Singh Sr Award (2025 Player of the Year- Women) at the Hockey India Annual Awards. This recognition didn’t happened suddenly but with the work of many years playing well consistently at the international level. With over 200 international caps to her name, she has established herself as one of the most dynamic and dependable player of the team.

She played a pivotal role in India’s performance at the at the FIH Women World Cup Qualifiers. She supported the team in securing a silver medal as well as delivered an impressive performance by scoring four important goals. She also secured her position as the third- highest scorer in the tournament.
