For many years, Neeta Kerhalkar devoted herself fully to her home and family, embracing the role of a homemaker with quiet pride. Life followed a familiar rhythm—until her son grew older and school hours brought something unexpected into her days: time. Time to reflect, to reconnect with herself, and to revisit passions she had once kept aside.

Throughout her journey Neeta’s father had been her real belief hands down as greatest role model. He taught her many inspiring words, —that no work is ever beneath dignity, and learning does not come with an age limit. These empowering words of her father stayed with her while shaping her decisions

Whenever doubt crept in, his encouragement reminded her that passion has no expiry date. Whether it was learning a new skill, stepping into business, or standing on stage to sing, Neeta carried forward that belief—that growth remains possible at every stage of life.

Creativity Finds Its Place

Neeta’s first step into entrepreneurship came through something she had formally studied—block and screen printing. With confidence born from knowledge and curiosity, she opened a small boutique to showcase her work. The boutique became more than a business; it became a reflection of her creative identity.

Parallel to this, singing remained close to her heart. What began as a hobby gradually led her to perform at state-level shows, earning appreciation for her voice. Music became both expression and emotional release—a space where discipline met joy.

Seeking balance between physical and mental well-being, Neeta also trained as a Reiki Master. Healing, creativity, and business slowly intertwined, shaping a life that felt purposeful and aligned.

The Silence That Tested Her Strength

The COVID-19 period brought challenges that tested Neeta in unexpected ways. Her boutique was forced to shut down, bringing business to a standstill. More painfully, she lost her voice—a loss that felt deeply personal for someone whose singing was a source of identity and joy.

For nearly two years, recovery was slow and uncertain. There were moments of frustration, fear, and fatigue. But Neeta chose persistence, returning to rigorous vocal practice with patience rather than pressure. At the same time, she explored online business models, adapting her work to changing realities instead of waiting for things to return to how they were.

That period reshaped her understanding of resilience. It taught her that setbacks do not erase purpose—they refine it.

Achievements Measured in Appreciation

When Neeta speaks of achievement, she does not begin with awards. She speaks first of people—the customers who appreciated her work, and the listeners who connected with her voice. For her, genuine appreciation has always mattered more than recognition.

Over time, accolades followed. She received honours such as Emerging Entrepreneur Award, Seasoned Entrepreneur Award, Iconic Businesswoman and Reiki Master of the Year 2023, National Achievers Award, and Women Icon Award 2025. Her singing earned special recognition from Sur Madhya Pradesh and Voice of Maharashtra.

Yet, she remains grounded. “Keep your feet on the ground even after success,” she reminds herself—one of the principles she lives by.

In her work she maintains her ethical ground that is guided by true spirits to never hurt someone or to never take undue advantage with a smile on face always. These value are grounded in her personal and professional life when she runs her business while interacting with people and successful measures.

In her life her family stood as rock in throughout her journey, making it easier for her to balance both her responsibilities at home and in office. She recognizes that encouragement from loved ones often becomes the quiet strength behind visible progress.

Believing in restructuring her own path, Neeta now focuses on helping other women take their first steps toward independence. She supports  women in need by guiding them into self-employment through online business models, sharing her experience so others can grow with confidence.
