Lara Dutta reveals Deepika’s on-set-challenge

Lara Dutta during the interview shared insights while recalling past memories from the film. The incident dates back to the time of Housefull shooting when Deepika Padukone was suffering from Malaria. This detail would have unknown to large public if hadn’t revealed it.

She further continued and said that her condition was really not good as she was suffering from shivering and fatigue. She had to take constant medical help including doctor consultation and regular medication. Furthermore, the shooting hours were fixed due to ensemble cast with multiple actors and many scenes included emotional sequences. Despite all these situations resulting in exhaustion she continued to report on set without any miss.

Lara while concluding her statement praised Deepika’s professionalism, she stated that even in such a draining state there was not a single drop in her performance. Through the incident she highlighted how difficult situations turn out and how challenging it becomes for an actor to work especially with an illness like malaria.
