"Happiness is found in the small things.", this line reminds us to appreciate the simple joys in life, as they often bring the most genuine and lasting happiness, said Krupa Shah who is an Art Creator, Social Philanthropist, Entrepreneur, and Inspirational Speaker.
Talking about why she chose art she said “I didn’t choose art; I’d rather say it chose me”.She has been artistically inclined since she was a little girl. She added “I remember being drawn towards the canvas and discovering my style as a teenager. My ideas translated into paintings instantly. It was then that I discovered my inborn passion for art and ever since I haven’t looked back”. This article delves into the life of Krupa Shah, her achievements, her personal life, and her future goals.
Introduction:
Krupa Shah is the Director of Krupa Arts and the President of Krupa Arts Foundation, she is also a Social Philanthropist, Entrepreneur & Inspirational Speaker. She was born and brought up in Mumbai.
The decision to pursue an artistic career did not come in an organized or well-thought-through manner. It all began as she started to notice things and paint them – be it people, places, or patterns. She said, “To say my fondness for art grew instantaneously would be a false statement – but neither can I define the precise timing when I decided to earn a living as an artist”. This transformation was partly driven by her travel experiences along with the formal training she received during and after the extended years of education. She gradually found her path uncovered her true calling, and came to a point of realization that art is what she will love to do and wants to continue doing. She feels, that art always was and continues to be a way of expressing what feel, imagine, and see in the mind, and putting onto a source for viewers to get a glimpse of. So, after encountering endless apprehensions, doubts, and second thoughts, her passion and dedication drove her to choose art as a career.
Krupa’s commitment to social work extends beyond her artistry. She has dedicated myself to various philanthropic endeavors, including:
- Creative Education for Socially Abled Kids: She actively promotes creative education for children with special needs, providing them with opportunities for artistic expression and personal growth.
- Developing Rural Areas: She has initiated projects to uplift rural communities, focusing particularly on education and empowerment. To mark significant occasions like the '75th Independence Day,' I spearheaded a massive tree plantation effort, overseeing the planting of 1,000 saplings within a single day across seven cities. I also demonstrate my commitment to the environment on 'World Environment Day' and 'World Earth Day' by placing hundreds to thousands of water-filled earthen pots to quench the thirst of birds during scorching heat.
- Empowering Young Girls Through Art: Recognizing the importance of self-expression, she conducted an art workshop for young girls at Badamvadi in the presence of the Education Minister, providing them with a platform to express their emotions through art.
Getting married at the tender age of 19 was a turning point in her career. Back then, she had no clue what the future had in store for her and how things would unfold. But her faith in destiny helped her carve a path toward the future of dreams. Looking back, she takes pride herself in her ability to maintain hope, individuality, and mental focus. It has helped me gain spiritual strength, clarity, and career success that she gets to witness in the present time.
Challenges and Achievements:
Some of the biggest challenges she faced involved navigating her journey alone, dealing with all the ups and downs by herself As a mother of three beautiful daughters, balancing personal responsibilities with her professional aspirations was particularly demanding. Despite these hurdles, she emerged as a warrior in the field of art and motivational speaking, proving her resilience and dedication. These experiences have shaped her into a stronger, more empathetic individual, and have significantly contributed to her growth and success.
In art, her most significant achievement is empowering individuals to create and appreciate art by providing detailed guidance, feedback, and inspiration. She said, “I help them understand complex concepts, explore various styles, and discover their unique artistic voices”. This process of mentorship and education not only enhances their technical skills but also fosters a deeper connection with their creative selves, which she considers a profound and meaningful accomplishment.
As a motivational speaker, her greatest accomplishment is inspiring and encouraging individuals to pursue their goals and overcome challenges. Krupa shah inspires by her speech about three timeless and universal principles that have the power to transform our lives and the world around us: peace, love, and truth.
- Peace—more than the absence of conflict, it is the presence of understanding, acceptance, and harmony. It begins within us, in our hearts and minds, and radiates outward into our communities and beyond. When we cultivate inner peace, we contribute to a more peaceful world.
- Love—the most powerful force in the universe, it transcends boundaries and connects us all. It is through love that we find compassion, empathy, and the strength to support one another. Love inspires us to be our best selves and to create a world where everyone can thrive.
- Truth—the foundation of integrity and authenticity. Living in truth means being honest with ourselves and others, embracing our vulnerabilities, and standing up for what is right. Truth illuminates our path, guiding us toward a life of purpose and fulfillment.
As we journey through life, let us embrace these principles, allowing peace to calm our hearts, love to guide our actions, and truth to light our way. She added “Together, we can create a brighter, more harmonious world for ourselves and future generations”.
