Indian Women's Team won the Inaugural Kho Kho World Cup

On Sunday, 19th January 2025, the Indian Women's Team made history by winning the Inaugural Kho-Kho World Cup, against Nepal. This match was held at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Pune. The team is led by Captain Priyanka Ingle.

The Indian Women's Team, won the match by 78-40 against Nepal. Kho Kho World Cup 2025 has successfully gained international attention to one of India’s oldest traditional games, Kho Kho. It is believed that numerous youthful talents across different states in the country will be encouraged to take up Kho Kho after emulating the success of this event in subsequent years.
