India won the title of “Women’s Asian Champions Trophy 2024”

Indian Women’s Hockey Team won the title of “Women’s Asian Champions Trophy 2024” at Rajgir Hockey Stadium in Bihar on 20th November 2024. Team India defeated the People’s Republic of China by 1-0. 

 

The player of the tournament title goes to Deepika from India, who scores the winning goal. Indian Women's Team won their first title in 2016, after that in the year 2023. This is the third title of the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy hockey title and this title brings India’s team to the level of Republic of Korea as the most successful nation in the competition’s history.

 

Earlier Japan beat Malaysia by 4-1 and won the bronze medal in Women's Asian Champions Trophy 2024.
