Bhavya Taneja’s Dual Role as Company Secretary And Writer

Bhavya lives in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and at a young age realized she liked to write when she was introduced to Hindi and English literature. She decided to become a CS because it is a reputed and prestigious career. This article tells about her life, achievements, and how she maintains a balance between work and life.

 

Introduction:

Bhavya Taneja, a Company Secretary by Profession, a teacher by passion, and a writer in person. At a young age, Bhavya realized her passion for writing and teaching, but she decided to pursue Company Secretary (CS), due to it being a compliance-oriented and highly reputed profession. Bhavya is inspired by every woman who broke the societal barriers for the growth of their career and achieved a balance in her personal and professional life.

Challenges and Achievements:

Bhavya also faces some challenges like any other person. After completing her course, when she looked for a job, for the first 6 months she got rejected in all the job interviews due to one or the other reason. The most prominent reason was a lack of confidence. Then when she got her first job, she started gaining confidence and then never turned back. When she started anchoring, it ended her stage fear as well. In all this, her father stood with her and helped her in both academic and professional life. He has faced all the thick and thin and made sure that she does not have to suffer. After her father, her core values of honesty, integrity, timeliness, and professionalism guided her throughout her career journey.

One of Bhavya’s important accomplishments is that besides being an average student she secured more than 90% in class 12th. Another achievement is being a first-rank holder in the Final level examinations in Lucknow in December 2013 attempt. Soon Bhavya launched her new book of self-written quotes called “Crisp Talkings” which was again a very big thing for her.

Personal Insights:

Talking about balancing work and life balance, Bhavya likes to travel and watch movies, as she wants to keep her inner child alive which helps her in creating balance. She hardly works on weekends and focuses on leisure and curricular activities. On the other hand, on weekdays, she works to the best of her potential which keeps her motivated.

Bhavya gets motivated by new challenges. Her nature is to keep searching for new things. She said, “I like new challenges at work and like to explore new opportunities which keeps me pushing forward. Plus, being a writer, my mind keeps wandering about innovations”.

Impact and Vision:

Bhavya has a vision to become someone whose guidance people seek and for that, she keeps herself updated in the field of her work on a daily basis. She aspires to become the most influential and highly intellectual woman entrepreneur. 

Apart from her professional goals, Bhavya is currently working on the second edition of her book “Crisp Talkings”.

Bhavya advises young women “I would say that every young woman should have a mindset of becoming independent. It does not matter whether they are studying science or commerce or arts, what matters is that they should never give excuses at the workplace and should work hard and become independent.
