Arya Borse Shines with Bronze at Domestic Shooting Championship
Arya Borse, a young Indian shooter gained attention with her impressive performance at the Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting Championship held in Bhopal. The tournament represents as one of the most crucial domestic tournaments where shooters from all over the country participates and competes for multiple honours. In the competitions, Arya stood out for her sharp focus, discipline and consistency while competing against experienced competitors.
She was recognized with bronze medal in women 10m air rifle individual event after her strong performance in final round. Arya competed against some of the finest shooters of country and scored 230.4 in the round which placed her on third position on podium. While the gold medal was secured by railway shooter Sonam Uttam Maskar and silver medal was claimed by Gujrat’s Elavenil Valarivan, Arya’s bronze finish was still recognized as the significant achievement.
The final round was not just an accomplishment as Arya already showcased her talent during qualification stage. She scored 631.4 points while finishing third among all competitors and then qualified comfortably for finals. Her performance well reflected her consistency and technical accuracy which further contributed to set her apart from others throughout the event.
Apart from this recognition, she also played a key role in earning the gold medal for Maharashtra in the women’s team event. Her contributions along with other team members’ strong efforts critically ensured Maharashtra to finish at the top and win the title. Furthermore, this victory strengthened Arya’s position in national shooting competitions as well as raises expectations for her future performances across national and international games.
