WPL 2025 Auction

Women’s Premier League 2025 auction, held in Bengaluru on 15th December 2024. There was fierce competition between four franchises: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Mumbai Indians (MI), Delhi Capitals (DC), and UP Warriorz (UP). There were 120 players, including 91 Indians and 29 International players.
Each franchise enters with Rs15 Crore, aiming to fill 19 available slots, including five for overseas players. Simran Shaikh, who is an uncapped player, became the most expensive player at Rs 1.90 crore. While Deandra Dottin, sold for Rs. 1.70 crore to Gujarat Titians. RCB retained 14 players and bought 4, leaving them with ?1.95 crore. MI also retained 14 players, purchased 4, and has ?65 lakh remaining. DC retained 14 players, acquired 4, and has ?1.75 crore left. GG retained 14 players, bought 4, and has ?80 lakh remaining. UP retained the most players at 15, bought 4, and has ?3.7 crore left.
