Introduction:

Manu Dixit is a physics teacher with over 16 years of experience. Growing up, Manu’s teachers inspired her passion for science and teaching and she started teaching in her hometown, inspired by a love for science and a commitment to making learning engaging. A turning point occurred when she moved to Faridabad, she joined a local school, where she developed unique methods to simplify complex physics concepts. The COVID-19 pandemic posed another challenge, as online learning left students feeling isolated and struggling to keep up. This prompted her to start Manu Dixit Physics Classes, allowing her to provide more personalized support. Lastly, maintaining a 100% board exam success rate means dedicating time to each student’s strengths and areas for growth. She says “Despite these challenges, seeing their trust and progress makes it all worthwhile.”

For Manu, the most meaningful achievements are the positive impact she has on her students’ academic performance and personal growth. Founding Manu Dixit's Physics Classes during the pandemic was a pivotal step, allowing her to support students closely, and it has led to a 100% pass rate in board exams, which is proof of her commitment.

Beyond results, Manu and her students share a strong bond, she added “I’m most proud of the strong bond I have with my students. Many see me as a mentor and share their challenges with me, a trust that I deeply value. Knowing I’ve created a space where they feel supported and inspired to enjoy physics makes my work truly fulfilling.”

For her work in the education field, Manu received the Woman Acharya of the Year award, recognizing her dedication to education and her passion for inspiring a love of learning in students. She was also awarded the Global Women Inspirational Award, a meaningful acknowledgment of her impact on the community. This recognition reflects her commitment to empowering students and encouraging fellow educators to create supportive, innovative learning environments.

Personal Insights:

What motivates her to keep going is the positive impact on her students’ lives. Seeing their growth and excitement for physics brings her deep joy and fulfillment. She added, “Each time a student grasps a challenging concept, it reinforces my passion for teaching and reminds me why I chose this path.”

Talking about maintaining a balance between her career and personal life, she believes it is crucial to give her best to both her students and herself. For this maintenance, she follows two rules Setting Boundaries and Time Management. She establishes clear boundaries between work and personal time, dedicating specific hours to teaching and unplugging from work when she is at home. Effective time management allows her to fulfill her teaching responsibilities while making time for personal interests and family. Planning her week helps allocate time for lessons, student consultations, and personal activities.

Impact and Vision:

Manu is currently focused on establishing a digital interface to provide quality education to students who are far away. Talking about this initiative she added “This initiative aims to enhance accessibility, ensuring that every student can benefit from my teaching, regardless of location. To achieve this, I am digitalizing my coaching program by creating engaging online resources, such as video lectures, interactive quizzes, and discussion forums. This will enable students to learn at their own pace while still receiving personalized support.”

Her future goals focus on expanding the reach and impact of her teaching while inspiring and empowering students. She also wants to expand digital learning, Manu’s primary goal is to fully develop and launch the digital interface for her coaching program. By creating a comprehensive online platform with diverse resources, she aims to reach more students, particularly in remote areas, and provide them with quality physics education.
