Empowering Minds: The Journey of Dr. Bhawna Sangeet

 

Dr. Bhawna Sangeet is currently an assistant professor, who defies all the odds and becomes one of the renowned teachers. Her aim is to teach every student equally and build self-confidence in them. This article tells about her life journey, her achievements, and what motivated her to choose teaching as a career path.

Introduction:

Dr. Bhawna Sangeet is the assistant professor in Rao Ranjeet Singh College of Education. She has a total of 6 years of experience in teaching. First 2 years as a primary teacher, then 2 years as a PGT Commerce, after that 4 years as a primary coordinator, and 2 years to date as an assistant professor.

Dr. Bhawna is a professor, whose mission is to raise self-confidence in every child. She added “She wants to encourage those children to whom teachers said that this child cannot do anything in life. For the overall development of children, she wants first to give importance to raising their self-confidence”.

Challenges and Achievements:

Dr. Bhawna has faced many challenges in her life during her educational journey. She remembered “I lost my father at the time when education was the pick point for me. Someone had said that children of illiterate parents remain illiterate. But I proved it wrong.”

Dr. Bhawna got First Prize in B.com and at that time her mother was very happy. She also won the 100 Educationist Award all over India and her father-in-law and her mother-in-law were very happy.

Personal Insights:

Dr. Bhawna wants to teach kids to be kind and accepting of others and teach them to be confident in themselves while giving them the support they need to succeed. She wants to become an educator to try and make a difference in young people’s lives and to hopefully inspire the same passion and interest in her subject that she has. In such a fast-paced world modern studies is a great subject to be able to explore newly occurring issues and topics further.

According to Dr. Bhawna, “A good work-life balance means you can be happy and productive at work and also have time for yourself and for your family. Having a priority list helps me stay focused on important tasks. It also helps me to finish everything on time so that we can enjoy some private time at home after a hard day’s work. I have been employing this strategy for a few years and have found that this works best for me to achieve a healthy work-life balance”.

Impact and Vision:

Talking about the vision for the education sector, Dr. Bhawna said “The goal of Education is to enrich the lives of students while producing articulate, expressive thinkers and lifelong learners, who are socially responsible, resilient, and active citizens of the world.”

Her core values of respect and responsibility guided her throughout her life journey. According to her respect has many types of meanings. “It includes a positive feeling towards another person’s skills, opinions or other characteristics and the honoring of a person’s beliefs ideas or culture” she added. According to Dr.Bhawna responsibility gives us a determination, she added “An educationist encompasses designing effective learning experiences, understanding diverse learning needs, implementing research–based teaching methodologies, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.”

Conclusion:

Dr. Bhawna advises young women “We all have our strengths and weaknesses, one of the Secrets that successful women rely on all the time is playing to their strengths while minimizing their weaknesses. Focus on the skills that make you the all-star that you are keep trying to improve on your weaker skills, but allow your strengths to let stand out from everyone else.”
