The first Indian women to win Olympic silver medal in badminton, Pusarla Venkata Sindhu is one of the greatest sports women in India. She is known for her strong smashes across matches as well as the receiver of appreciations for her speed and consistency.

The year 2013 came with the breakthrough in her career as she became the youngest Indian to achieve milestone success with bronze medal at World Championships. Another success came with the 2016 win at Rio Olympics which not only honored her with silver medal but also turned her into a national sensation overnight.

These are not the only entitles she won but her journey follows the consistent participation and recognition across competitions every year. She has been participating in every major event without any gap including the World Championships, Olympics Games as well as Commonwealth Games. These tournaments provided her with multiple opportunities in which she not only showcased her talent but ensured to bring medals for country.

Her entitlements are not limited to winning competition medals but also involves the national recognition awards including Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award, Arjuna award, Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan award. Additionally, she has been featured in many global sports rankings and has been identified as one of the top badminton players in the world.
