Swati Munjal: When Words Become a Quiet Companion to Healing
Some journeys do not begin with a plan. They arrive softly, unannounced, and change everything. For Swati Munjal author, poet, and motivational writer—writing was never a childhood ambition or a carefully chosen career. It was an awakening.
“I call myself an accidental poet,” she says, with a calm certainty. “One night, words simply began to flow, and I realised I was chosen to inspire people to believe in themselves.”
That single moment marked the beginning of a path shaped by honesty, lived emotion, and an unwavering belief in the power of simple words.
Listening to an Inner Call
Calling towards her writing came from observing human emotions which did not come from formal training but from quiet resilience and from times when encouragement was rightly needed
Speaking of her first book, Teaspoons Full of Love and Positivity (2022), was loved by readers all across, while readers reflected that they kept the book beside their bed, turning to it during moments of pain, confusion, or emotional exhaustion. While some described it as self-guide through difficult phases of life.
Writing for the Young, Shaping the Future
While writing about her second creation Tales of Victory Over Self (2025), marked a meaningful expansion of her purpose. It was especially written for children focusing on emotional strength, self-reflection and inner courage with qualities that must be nurtured early.
However, Children responded with honesty and openness, sharing how the stories helped them feel calmer, more confident, and less afraid of failure. Teachers and parents noticed changes too children expressing themselves more freely.

Challenges That Shaped Clarity
While moving forward one of Swati’s challenges was learning to trust her own voice. While writing, especially when it comes from vulnerability, requires courage. There were times of self-questioning whether her words were enough, whether they would be understood, whether simplicity would be valued.
Over time, she learned that authenticity needs no validation. Her voice did not need to be loud or dramatic; it only needed to be honest.
This belief now anchors her writing and her life.
Values Rooted in Positivity
At the heart of Swati’s work lies a deep belief in positivity—not as denial of pain, but as a conscious choice to respond to life with awareness and calm.
“I believe a positive attitude brings peace into our lives,” she says. One affirmation she often shares is: “I am good enough.” To her, this simple statement has the power to undo years of self-doubt.
Her role models reflect these values. She admires Rhonda Byrne for highlighting gratitude as a life-changing force and Sudha Murthy for her simplicity, grounded wisdom, and quiet strength.
A Writer Who Walks With Her Readers
While engaging in with children’s she started conducting workshops, so that it becomes an easy medium to keep her connected to real experiences, fears and hopes. They helped curating her new book that focused on parenting which tries to bridge emotional gap between parents and children.
Her stories draw inspirations from everyday life conversations and observations that is experienced by many of us but articulated by some.
The Belief That Anchors Her Work
One of Swati’s favourite lines captures the essence of her philosophy:
“Why should others decide how you should feel?
Your belief none can steal.”
It is a reminder that confidence is not granted by applause or approval—it is cultivated from within.
A Message to Every Woman
Swati’s message to women is rooted in empathy rather than instruction. She believes every woman carries an unseen strength—often overlooked, sometimes undervalued.
“Look deeper into every woman’s strength,” she says. “Appreciate her hidden calibre.”
She believes women can be powerful support systems for one another—not competitors, but companions in growth. “A woman can be a perfect ladder for another. Lift each other up, and success will follow.”
