Rachael’s relationship with words began early. Growing up, she was surrounded by expression—encouraged especially by her mother, who introduced her to the power of language. While studying Sociology with Counselling Psychology at St. Xavier’s College, writing remained a constant presence in her life.

Rachael’s career unfolded steadily, built on experience rather than instant recognition. Over ten years, she worked across industries, formats, and teams, learning how ideas evolve and how people collaborate under pressure. Being trusted with large brand narratives and leading award-winning campaigns marked important milestones, but she considers quieter moments just as defining.

“Learning to trust my voice was a turning point,” she reflects. Leadership, for her, didn’t come from authority but from accountability—standing by ideas, listening to teams, and creating space for collaboration.

As a twenty one year who just moved out of college and started her first job, she got diagnosed with cancer, it came unexpected and disruptive. It forced her to pause when she thought life was just beginning.

That experience reshaped her understanding of ambition. Recovery taught her patience, resilience, and perspective—lessons that would later define her leadership style. “It taught me empathy early,” she says. “And it taught me to remain calm even when things feel uncertain.”
