She dreamed of becoming a doctor when she was in class 7th class so that she could serve the society, she said “when I was in 7th standard I had a dream to become a doctor to serve society because there were no doctors in our family”
Dr. Siddiqa's career journey is a testament to her resilience and determination. She completed her primary and high school education in an Urdu government school, which presented its own set of challenges. "After PU, entering BAMS was particularly difficult because I didn't know Hindi and Sanskrit," she recalls. "But I learned and persevered."
Challenges and achievements:
Her biggest achievement is to learn Sanskrit, a language very unfamiliar to her but she has to learn because of her studies.
Her journey was not without obstacles. In her second year of BAMS, Dr. Siddiqa faced a significant health challenge when she was infected with cellulitis. This resulted in a two-month hospital stay at SDM Hospital, during which she also contended with financial difficulties. Despite these setbacks, she completed her studies and went on to earn an advanced certificate in gynecology and obstetrics.
Personal Insights:
Dr. Siddiqa has 2 children one is 4 years old and the other is 1.6 years old. Still, she faces this all with a smiling face and still, she faces this all with a smiling face.
She tells her that her father’s words keep her going forward.
