Impact and Vision

Nowadays many healthcare workers set unrealistic goals for patients that cannot be followed and hence do not create any impact on patients. Gunjan Multani believes goals should be set achievable, and realistic and one should create a plan to achieve it with keep in mind for the care of patients, healthcare workers should be showing genuine care, empathy, and understanding for clients' experiences and challenges. A good doctor should help the client find their Motivating Reason as to why they want to bring the change in their lives and all this can be achieved by building a strong community that can help bring major transformations.

Talking about the trends of healthcare in India, she states some useful facts “The International Diabetes Federation estimated that in 2019, there were approximately 77 million adults living with diabetes in India. Hypertension is a significant public health issue, with a prevalence of around 29.8% among adults in India according to the National Family Health Survey (NFHS-5) conducted in 2019-2020.”

The rise in lifestyle diseases poses a significant burden on India's healthcare system and economy. Addressing this issue requires comprehensive public health strategies, including promoting healthy lifestyles, improving access to healthcare, and implementing policies to reduce risk factors. As a Wow Dietician, currently Gunjan Multani is conducting workshops in India to address these issues.

Talking about how she can contribute to the healthcare system she said “Currently, I have designed a unique comprehensive model using NeuroLinguistic Programming techniques, frontal lobe activation, and Quantum Healing to improve the neural patterns and mind-gut connection. Neurons impact our cells and telomeres at the genetic level by releasing chemicals that are either good or bad. Each cell in the human body creates 1,40,000 different types of proteins. If there is stress, anxiety, or any negative thought in the mind, the same cell will create a cheaper protein. This can be resolved by this comprehensive model. Moreover, I have introduced the usage of natural prebiotics and probiotics in this program after discussing them with a team of medical doctors. I was discussing the impact of natural probiotics with Dr. Yogesh Harwani, a Gastroenterologist. We have researched together how a probiotic diet can improve the gut bacteria which can promote the telomere's length at the genetic level. If we eat a healthy diet, neurons will be healthy. These points I have discussed and we have a research academy at Noble Hospital, Mithakali, Ahmedabad. I want to transform the lives of as many people with this program and help them live a healthy lifestyle.”

Conclusion:

At last, her advice to young women is to Stay Resilient, Prioritize Self-Care, Embrace Diversity, Balance Passion and Career and also she said “Human anatomy will stay the same in the next 100 years, we Indians are blessed with the ancient practices of yoga, herbal medicine, and Ayurveda, and our rich cultural heritage. We should emphasize these areas and explore genetic research, as modifying telomere length could give us a disease-free and long life. Let’s dedicate ourselves to this effort.”
