Introduction:

Shweta Rane founder of redthread hospitality with a experience of 10 years. She finished her graduation in Business Management from Mumbai, and after that, she earned a BA in German Language, post that she worked as a tutor, translator, and interpreter for 13 years. She said “Getting into hospitality wasn’t a planned decision, it just happened by chance! Maybe it was my destiny! But thereafter it became my passion!”

Her career started with a degree in Business Management and German Language Professional, and now diverted to hospitality which happens to be a family business now.

Challenges and Achievements:

Since hospitality is 24-hour service industry, this industry keeps people on their toes. From the recruitment process to flawless operation so that guests feel like a home. Shweta always makes sure that Redthread always has something unique to offer to the other competitors. 

Shweta believes some values are non-negotiable in this line of business. She gives a lot of importance to teamwork, excellence and innovation, professionalism, and safety. That’s why she believes that the love, loyalty, grace, and reviews received by the guests are her most precious achievements for her. Redthread has received OTAS, also they have been receiving best property awards regularly.

Personal Insights:

Talking about her work-life balance, she believes balance is important in one’s life. Since she is a management student, her management skills help her to balance both. She said, “We all know that one cannot pour from an empty glass, my management skills help me strike a beautiful balance between the two lives happily”. 

Impact and Vision:

Shweta believes in a democratic style of leadership, where she likes to encourage each member to participate in the decision-making, hence creating transparency amongst the team.

She is currently working on two new projects in Vagator and Mandrem in Goa. Shweta's plan is to retire with a dream of making a wellness resort, which focuses on striking a beautiful balance between the mind, body, and soul.
