New Zealand Wins ICC T20 Women's World Cup 2024
On Sunday 20, October 2024 New Zealand defeated South Africa in the final with 32 runs and lifted the trophy of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, which was hosted by Bangladesh and played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
This victory is big for New Zealand as it is the first time they won the trophy of ICC Women's T20 World Cup, they lost finals in the year 2009 and the year 2010. Player of the tournament trophy was won by Amelia Kerr of New Zealand.
