Being born and brought up in a family of educationalists/academicians (My dad being a retd. Professor of English and my mother is a retd. headmistress), the core values of education, timeliness, discipline, continuous learning, hard work, mentoring are being instilled throughout.
And I believe, those become the strong foundation in my personal and professional growth. I have completed my graduation in Odisha and being from a Tier 3 city, I always had the dream to excel in my career and to achieve bigger goals though the opportunities and the scope is very limited in my native. Based on my qualification and further studies, I have shifted to Bangalore and my career journey started from there.
From the beginning of my professional journey, I am privileged to work under some of the top brands like Intel, Oracle, where I was recognized, through different awards, for my performance and dedication.
Do not despise small beginning
My journey in my current organization started 9 years back where I joined to a team as a single person. In fact I started with no tools and applications even though I had only worked with tools in my previous experiences. With my foundational knowledge, I had established talent ecosystems from the ground up, hands-on builder to a strategic enterprise leader.
- System Design and Implementation:-Transitioning the organization from a manual, un-tooled RMG environment to an integrated digital ecosystem.
- Bench Optimization & Redeployment: Designed processes with
- compliance that enabled robust bench redeployments, significantly decreasing idle time and ensuring optimal resource utilization across business units.
- Innovation: - Designed and deployed proprietary systems for real-time bench tracking, a skills management system for skill mapping, and cross-functional redeployment.
- Talent Retention: - Enhanced talent retention by creating clear internal mobility paths via proactive redeployment which contributed towards saving recruitment costs.
- Bench utilization: - Engagement of bench in different activities in alignment with organizational goals which equals profitability.
- Team mentoring and supervision:-As we progress, we added people to the team to be stewards of the process. I have mentored the new entrants and guided them with a structured training plan documented and progress tracking.
We went from tracking people on disconnected spreadsheets to an automated, real-time data driven dashboard.
As a result, we transformed our bench into a strategic asset. We significantly reduced bench idle time, maximized bench utilization, and directly boosted talent retention by giving people clear, system-driven paths to their next project redeployments. Turned a chaotic manual process into a data-driven engine aligned with our organizational goals.
During this journey, my then manager, Rajat Sethi, who is currently serving as CRO in a different organization, had supported the right cause and guided these initiatives, put a note on my 7th work anniversary as

Be strong and courageous while facing challenges
Bringing a change towards betterment of the organization and also to build a strong culture needs a bold and courageous stand. To act as a conduit between opportunity funnel and supply (balancing demand and supply) needs a constant and rigorous coordination, good stakeholder management and good understanding of the process. One has to balance the emotion from both sides while remaining calm.
I remember there was a phase in my life during mid of 2021 , during covid, there was an untimely death of my elder sis husband at a young age and that was a great blow to our family and during those crucial period, while going through that devastating times, the emotional challenges to bear the traumatic pain, sustaining the family members by standing as a strong pillar (that to being the youngest one in the family) and balancing my work was really challenging.
But I did not allow my circumstances to overwhelm me. Even though I walked through the valley of the shadow of death but chose to anchor my family rather than capsize under the weight of the storm. However, there were times where I thought of giving up but I got encouragement through” "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
I am thankful to my then manager, Rajat Sethi, who was empathetic and helped guided me forward.

In my journey, hard work, commitment, and a clear vision are the key in driving organizational change and balancing the talent ecosystem.
