As she gained international experience, she returned to India and started working in a family business. She initially faced certain challenges like skepticism because she was the daughter of company’s founder. Despite the challenges to prove herself, she focused on enhancing her understanding of business operations by working in different departments.
Instead of taking over the business directly from senior level role, Namita did it step by step by constant learnings. This practical experience gradually rose her to the position of executive director and she took the responsibility of company’s Indian business and overall growth strategy with confidence.
