Her career journey started at a very tender age. Initially learning Vastu Shastra was just a hobby for her, but as she began reading books on these topics, her interest turned into a passion. Although she was pursuing her regular academic education, she was still drawn towards these subjects. During this time, Dr.Sreepadma met Sri Krishna Murthy ji, who helped her gain knowledge of these subjects. She said, “I was very fortunate during this time for having met my Guru Sri Krishna Murthy ji, who helped me to gain an in-depth understanding of these subjects. In a way, this was a turning point in my life as I was able to decide which subject appeals more to my mind and realized that my area of interest lies in Vastu Shastra, a science of construction and energies.”

Personal Insights:

Dr. Sreepadma feared that her marriage would bring in some professional restrictions. It was a blessing for her that her family provided her with support and understanding and helped her to fulfill her dreams. Dr.Sreepadma's  son’s birth was a turning point in her life wherein she decided to start a consultancy of her own. Till then although she was a Vastu Consultant, she was not able to come directly into public and make a recognition for herself.

Dr. Sreepadma said, “The life of a working or a business woman in India is multifaceted, shaped by traditional values and modern opportunities. There are significant challenges related to gender norms, family expectations, and many more”.

She balances her life by following a few rules:

  1. Self-care and Mental Health play a very important role in every woman's life. One must take any responsibility as a blessing of God and fulfill it. One must be always conscious of their mental and emotional well-being to have proper work-life balance, stress management, and mindfulness.
  2. Work-Life Integration is essential even among family members.
  3. Creating a Support System within the family is necessary.
  4. Effective Time management is very important.
  5. Good and polite behavior with everyone works wonders.

Impact and Vision:

Dr. Sreepadma envisions herself teaching Vastu Shastra and Spiritual concepts to as many people as she can. She said “Whether through Meditation, Yoga, Vastu Shastra, Astrology or the study of sacred texts, Indian occultism guides practitioners toward a higher understanding of the universe and their place within it. The Indian occult is not just about gaining supernatural powers alone, but also about achieving spiritual awakening, self-realization and ultimate liberation (moksha) from the cycle of birth and death. These teachings remain deeply embedded in the Indian cultural and Indian spiritualism and continue to inspire seekers worldwide”.

She believes teaching or preaching these subjects not only helps many to get answers to the unsolvable questions of their life but certainly helps them to lead a happy and prosperous life.

Dr. Sreepadma's suggestions for the future trends or developments in the field of education in India are:

  1. Curriculum Reforms
  2. Flexibility in Higher Education
