Anupama’s art is an innate gift as she believes strongly which empowers her to communicate with beauty and aesthetics of abstraction. Since she is an animal lover, she believes that “God has been kind by granting me my wish that my canvases not only are all over the world but also are a reason I could help in my-humble way animal causes”.

Anupama had a glorious run so far, in her journey of art and creativity. She had started her painting three decades back as a hobby, she thought that she was not talented enough but realized with time that talent is just a pushed interest. She would love to share in fact speak aloud her thoughts on her canvasses as barely as she can. Looking back she thought “My journey begins with a blank canvas; believing in faith that a painting will emerge. The first marks are made and the dialogue has begun. Responding instinctively; colors, lines, and textures bring life to the canvas”.

Introduction:

Anupama Trigunayat is a wife, mother, animal lover, and a self-taught artist. She has been painting for over 30 years. She considers her art as a blessing. She has always been attracted to colors and textures and just followed her instinct. When she started to paint on canvas, what drew her most was the freedom of exploring anything and everything and she felt like a child left in a toy room with everything to play around with. Most importantly the ability to self-express, she could articulate the unspoken emotions and narratives brewing within through her art to her canvasses talk, and communicate.

Every artist or a person who is creative in any form has a journey path and evolution change and growth are the only constant all through. Similarly, Anupama has also experienced change, growth continuous evolution, and the emergence of ideas, techniques textures, etc. She as an artist grew and explored and transformed ideas, and the evolution of her work and art evolved with practice over time. The visual form will change and has continuously changed and altered as a result of the exploration of ideas, subjects, and mediums.  She believes that as an artist every canvas is a milestone and a special achievement because it’s our own and original product be good or bad does not matter. However, her art got connected to her crazy love for animals and found a cause very dear to her heart.

Challenges and achievements:

Anupama believes that the artist's biggest achievement was the appreciation and admiration of viewers and art lovers. The main challenge facing the art world today is the need for artists to adopt a business model and rely on networks, coordination of skills, software, logistics, marketing services, and funding sources.

But talking only about Anupama, she has always been driven by a passion to paint and create and not by the potential of commercial success. She also feels that her art is an acknowledgment of a more profound structure, possibly hinting at a greater intelligence or deeper meaning to her existence and core. Her first exhibition was very special for her it was full of anticipation, excitement and anxiety, she has the fear of perception of viewers but eventually it became her core strength and progression and expansion of her artistic intellect just came naturally.

She added that “I have been indeed very fortunate to and blessed and am humbled by the fact that my art has been recognized and appreciated and has been sold for my cause”.
